fuck yeah DREADLOCKS

Dreadlocks have been around for thousands of years and in a multitude of cultures.

My dreadlocks were created on May 5, 2011 using the twist ‘n rip and backcomb methods. At seven months, I did crochet maintenance as well as brushed out and twist ‘n ripped the dreadlocks I’d initially backcombed (that method has never worked very well for me). At fourteen months, I did crochet maintenance again and dyed them (as you can tell from the photo). I’m very happy with them, most days, and wouldn’t brush them out for anyone or anything. http://blackout-lilies.tumblr.com/
